Biography
Dr. Hichem Karray is an IEEE member since 2006. He is an Engineer in Computer Science affiliated to the National Radio of the City of Sfax in Tunisia. Dr. Hichem Karray is the current Chair of the Signal Processing Chapter in Tunisia Section since 2017. He was very active in many scientific events related to the Signal, Image and Video processing. He was implicated in many opening days to reinforce the exchange of expertise between industrial and academic. He lead many scientific projects in the field of the smart city based on the connectivity through signal processing.
Hichem Karray has obtained his Engineering diploma in Computer Science from the University USTHB in Algeria in 2003. In 2003, he had obtained his professional master degree in Multimedia from the National School of Engineering of Sfax in Tunisia. in 2003, He obtained also his research master degree in Novel Technologies of Software Engineering. In 2009, he obtained his Thesis on Content based indexing of Videos from the National School of Engineers of Sfax. In 2014, he was nominated as the Director of the Radio Sfax in Tunisia.
