Biography
ABIR ABID is a researcher and PhD student in computer systems Engineering at the National Engineering School of Sfax (ENIS), University of Sfax-Tunisia and a member of the Research Groups in Intelligent Machines laboratory (ReGIM-Lab) since 2015.
In addition, Abir is a part time lecturer at faculty of sciences of sfax for (2023-2024).
She received the bachelor degree in computer science in 2012 and the Research Master degree in 2015 from the Higher Institute of Computer Science and Multimedia (ISIMS) Sfax, Tunisia.
Abir joined IEEE in 2015 as a graduate student member within IEEE ISIMS Student Branch. Currently, she is holding the position of IEEE Tunisia Section secretary and IEEE Education Tunisia Chapter Chair (2023 - 2024). She is an active IEEE member with various and appreciated volunteering. She served as Local Arrangement of IEEE ENIS Student Branch for 2016-2017. She served also as Vice chair of IEEE ISIMS Student Branch for 2019-2020 and within IEEE Education Society Tunisia Chapter she served as Secretary/Webmaster for (2017-2018)&(2021– 2022) and Vice chair for (2019-2020). She is also a member in different other technical societies like ES, CS, and WIE.
She participated in various IEEE conferences as an organizing/technical committee member such as 2022 IEEE Global Engineering Education Conference (EDUCON) and 28th IEEE Symposium on Computers and Communications (ISCC’2023)
